Developed at Ecal, this project explore the traditional techniques usually used for crystal glass like cutting, engraving, gilding. I apply them on existing industrial glass packaging such as milk bottles or jars for tomato sauce. With this graphical “upgrade” I join together the industrial and the craft. I simply started by applying very traditional decorations that were later replaced by my personal “upgrades” inspired by the paper labels that takes part of this everyday objects and identify the product inside each bottle. This project was exhibited with Libby Sellers Gallery.
