Pedestal

Tea is an important part of the turkish culture. Offering the tea to guests is a part of turkish hospitality. The tea is always served in a special and recognizable glasses developed for this purpose. The transparent glasses enhance the tea taste and the tea color. My idea is not to change this traditional ritual, but simply underline it by adding a small glass pedestal on this traditional tea cup shape. This tea cup was designed for Pasabahce glass company as a part of the Omnia project.
