Blow

This frosted glass table lamp is like a “mongolfiere” that flight to explore the world. The project refers also to the air which allows blowers to shape molten glass. The two parts of the lamp are assembled together by simple rubber bands which refer to the rope of a hot air balloon. On one side, this minimal connection creates a tension sufficient to maintain the stability of the lamp and on the other side it allows a quick disassembly for changing the bulb. This project was developed during a workshop in Turkey organized by the association “Glass is tomorrow” and it is now taking part of the catalog of “Nude glass” brand.
